There are plenty of fun facts that may change any person's perspective of the Lone Star State. Big Tex: Texans can back up the saying "Everything is bigger in Texas". From the population to the tourist attractions, Texas truly is BIG. One place that can really prove the point is Big Tex located in Fair Park, Dallas. Standing 55 ft tall, Big Tex has to be the tallest Teaxan standing. Wearing a 75 gallon hat and size 70 boots, Big Tex gives all visiting tourists a welcoming “Howdy”.
